This course is intended for employees who use personal fall-protection equipment as part of their work — on roofs, towers, construction sites or other elevated locations. It covers a review of legal requirements, hands-on practice with PPE, and managing emergency situations.

Programme content
Legal requirements
Overview of occupational health and safety legislation for work at height.

Actions to take following an accident, calling for help, and safe lowering procedures.
Requirements for participants
- Minimum age of 18
- Medical certificate confirming fitness for work at height
- Work clothing suitable for practical exercises
Certification
On completion of the course, participants receive a certificate confirming their competence to work safely at height using PPE. Refresher training is recommended every 2-3 years.
